A Self-Sufficient Off-the-Grid Dream Home
When Paul and Diane approached Svenskhomes they were quite adamant that they wanted to have the least amount of involvement in their new build with full project management undertaken. After just one meeting in our offices, they had decided that we were the company to supply them with the new energy efficient, off-the-grid home of their dreams.
Paul and Diana were keen to keep the number of people on site to a minimum at all times, reducing any disruption to their smallholding where possible.
We started the full turn-key project by demolishing the existing asbestos property and laying the foundations of their new home. The build project was carried out through the winter months, which was not a problem thanks to the benefits of using our pre-manufactured system. We were able to erect the house and be weather-tight in just one week; so that all internal trades could carry on working without any disruptions.
You were there at the beginning from the meeting with the architect, through the planning application to completion and have been helpful and courteous every step of the way.
We have our beautiful dream home and all the little problems along the way have been dealt with promptly and with the minimum of fuss.
